How to succeed at E-rate

Learn how the E-Rate grant program opens up new opportunities for your charter school. Come to the How to Succeed at E-Rate workshop hosted by the Maryland Charter School Network and Dynamic Network Solutions to learn what you need to apply and how to succeed through the entire process.  The workshop is in three parts, Topics included:

  • How charter schools have used E-rate grant money to successfully purchase IT equipment and services like a new server, phone system, wiring, and monthly maintenance on the equipment.
  • Learn the different type of services and equipment that were approved.
  • How technology plans and National School Lunch Program numbers have an influence in the process.
  • Learn how much funding was approved:  Did you know that ERate funding can pay up to 90% of your phone, cell phone and internet costs, but that's not all, E-Rate can also pay 90% of your costs to get a new server, phone system or wiring, it can even pay for monthly maintenance on the equipment.  Schools that successfully apply and use e-rate get thousands and sometimes hundreds of thousands of dollars for their IT projects.
